Police appeal after elderly woman has cash stolen from Derbyshire home

An elderly woman in Swadlincote had a large amount of cash stolen from her home after being visited by two door-to-door salesmen. The woman, in her late 70s, was visited by the men at her home in Church Street, Coton in the Elm, on Tuesday, August 22.

After their visit, which took place between 9.30am and 1.30pm, the woman noticed that the cash was missing. Derbyshire police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, and have appealed for information.
