Sightings of a specific vehicle in a Derbyshire town are being sought by police after two men were left injured. The duo suffered slash wounds following a fight in Ripley in the early hours of Sunday, September 4.

Police believe the incident happened inside, or close to, The Crib Bar, Church Street, at around 4am. The two men, who are both in their 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the fight which is believed to have involved a small group of men.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may be able to help with their enquiries. In particular this includes anyone that saw an old-style black Jeep Cherokee 4×4 which it is believed may have been driven by two people involved in the incident.
