Police hunt for man in connection with incident in Derbyshire pub

Derbyshire police have released an image of a man they want to talk to in connection with a suspicious incident outside a Derbyshire pub. It’s understood the investigation is linked to the courtyard of The Bluebell Inn on High Street in Alfreton.

It was at around 7.25pm on Friday, August 26, when reports came in of somebody being in the courtyard of the pub trying to sell drugs.

Officers have now released a picture of a man they want to talk to in connection with the incident. They also hope the man will be able to supply officers with further information about what happened.

Derbyshire police are now appealing to members of the public to try and identify the man in the picture, seen wearing black-rimmed glasses and a hooded top.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact officers on 101, quoting reference number 22000498300.

Information can also be passed, anonymously, to the independent charity Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111 or by visiting the Crimestoppers website.
